Devoted to life

20 December 2020

Practice becoming devoted today. Devotion is “love, loyalty, or enthusiasm for a person, activity, or cause.” This day can be filled with love, loyalty and enthusiasm if you take the time to devote your attention to what really matters. Don’t let this day go by without the necessary steps to make it meaningful and worthy. There are so many worthwhile endeavors today, if you pay close attention to what could be possible. You can devote yourself to being healthy, to learning a worthy skill, to becoming a better human, or to making a positive impact today. The opposite of devotion includes doing things you dread, that you’re not committed to, or that you don’t love. Don’t fill today with things that bring you down. Instead become a devoted follower of all things in your life!

We spend too much time on things that don’t matter. You can’t feel good about devoting yourself to social media, or watching television. Those things just pass the time. Devotion implies that you are doing something you love and that makes you feel better about yourself. Make time for those things today! Devotion is fully engaging in the things that matter in your life. Secondly, devote your attention to one thing at a time today. When you do this, the quality of your work will vastly improve. Finally, devote yourself to the things that bring you energy and joy. Today, do all things with love, loyalty and enthusiasm! Devote yourself to a better quality of life and notice how much more meaningful life can be!
