- Once it hits the fan, brace but don’t tense. It’s always “in the meantime.”
- Realize it will take longer than you think, but small signs of hope, like breadcrumbs, will be dropped along the way.
- At times, it will feel like you’re being compressed through a space through which you’ll never get. Don’t believe in endings. We’ve heard it before.
- Resources will seem scarce, and opportunities will seem completely unavailable. That’s a good sign. You’re operating on your own power.
- The storm will worsen before it gets better. Remember when it rains, it pours. Maybe even floods. But you float.
- Don’t take desperate action. Don’t force. Don’t push. Allow, surrender, and stay quiet.
- Remember, you’ll never be left without option – death is always a way out; but much too easy.
- You won’t feel like you can make it, but you are learning to rely solely upon yourself and nothing more. That’s tough to remember.
- Trust your gut and stay in constant communion with it. Even though it’s quiet, it will respond when action is necessary. Most of the time; however, there is no response or reaction necessary. Your so-called battles resolve themselves.
- Don’t fight the compression. Dissolve. You’ll fit through the tiny space with a cool head, composure, and a deep trust that no matter how it looks – it’s OK, and it’s the way forward.
