Life can feel like an upstream effort – grunting through and surviving yet another day. But I believe life can be better than this. We can be at ease, even if we’re very active, and if we’re dealing with complex challenge. Nature serves as our example. The posture of creation is always at ease. It does busy, complex and active work in perfect balance and in peaceful harmony. It also rests and has periods of inactivity, in perfectly balanced harmony. And so can you.
The internal chaos of unease doesn’t have to be a way of life. If you struggle, pay attention to what it might be saying to you. Pay attention to your daily routines, for example. Are they causing an internal storm? Could you be using your time more wisely, by figuring out what you really want? Being unclear of your desires creates mental fog. In this fog of existence, life can seem like fending off snakes and putting out fires.
Reset your compass on YOU, your goals, and your dreams. Once the compass becomes clear, start rowing, and you’ll learn that the current wants to move with you, not against you. If you don’t know what you want, keep asking, but heed the answer, when it comes. If you move towards your customized destiny of desire, life will work for you, and you can stop the battle. Dislodge what makes your soul uneasy by ceasing behaviors that put you in compromise. Create new beliefs and new behaviors that you know are good for you. Stop repeating behaviors that competitively destroy your wellness. Begin the journey of an “easier” life – one that fits your particular situation and desire. Remember, you’re not competing, you are cooperating with life. Competition is a struggle, cooperation is a breeze. Go with the wind and your inner struggle will dissolve.
