The path to peace always leads to love.

If faced with difficult decisions, your intuition will always want to lead you towards what feels internally peaceful – even if your decision is unpopular with others. But here’s the caveat – what’s peaceful is usually detected in stillness and silence. Most of us don’t allow ourselves enough space or time to detect the “message” of peace, through what’s called discernment. Maybe because it might take too long, or because we don’t like what actions or changes the “message” requires of us. We might intuitively know that we’re supposed to take action on something, or that we’re going to have to make a drastic change in our lives, but we’re so distracted by busyness or technology, that we simply have no time to sit quietly and discern what’s best for us.

If your life feels like a chore, rather than a joy – then it’s time to figure out how to change, to bring a more peaceful existence into your daily life. Choose people, jobs, and opportunities that feel grounded; natural; peaceful – and you know that the outcome will be fulfilling, satisfying, and ultimately loving. Sometimes our choices are difficult, but they always beckon us to chose things that reflect what’s loving towards ourselves. Real peace, the peace of the universal intelligence, will defy logic. Real peace stretches beyond the mind- or what others think you “should” do when faced with difficult decisions. But peace always lead you home. And that dwelling-place of peace is rooted in love. The inner peace of truth is your home, your sanctuary. Once you get a taste of this inner peace, and you learn to sustain it, anything that knocks you off course is grounds for scrutiny. That scrutiny is important because it gives you a chance to purge what’s not working, change what you can, and leave the rest alone. Be at ease, each and every moment of your day. Go where peace takes you, and love is sure to follow. When love is there, your joy will be complete.
