The freedom of your imagination is what allows you to “see” beyond what you can actually see with your eyes. It allows you to preemptively experience love, before love finds you. It’s what allows you to preemptively experience fulfillment, before fulfillment finds you. And it’s what ultimately allows you to preemptively experience death, before death finds you. Not physical death per se, but death to the kind of thinking and limitations that holds your spirit hostage. Once you “die” to self, the fullness of life becomes so vivid that you’ll desire nothing more.
When the fullness of who you are converges with the joy of your inner, child-like wonder, the elation of life begins to surpass the limits of the physical. Beyond the physical lies the joy that surpasses a “reason” to be happy. In other words, there are no indications in the physical realm that seem to have a direct cause and effect to your happiness and fulfillment – it’s just there, for no apparent reason. It’s because we’re born with that inner fullness. We are joy, from the moment we are born. We are peace, from the moment we are born; and we are love, from the moment we are born. There is no need to pursue life’s richness – it’s already there.
The essence of being alive is what allows you to see beyond the limits of the mind, to go beyond the horizon to experience the fullness of heaven that exists within you. Once you get a glimpse of that fullness, it becomes so profound that nothing will stop you from wanting to know more about it, to experience more of it, and to allow your cup to runneth over. If your cup runs over, then you have something to give! If you’re running on empty, if you’re frustrated, or if you’re lost – you’ll only have those things to give to your fellow humans. Does the world need more of those things (emptiness, frustration, and confusion)? I think we’ve had enough. It’s time to give from the cup that runs over, deep within, from the fullness of your soul.
