For years, I didn’t even realize that I had an inner nature. I’m not talking about your personal history, or even your personality, although those aspects of yourself are natural manifestations of your inner nature. What I am referring to is a deeper aspect of who you are, something that draws you towards its truth. And what is that truth? It’s everything that you know, deep within you, that is right for you. But what’s right for you, is not always what’s right for others. When we spend time trying to please others, we lose our inner truth, and we disconnect from what’s meant to guide us through every single aspect of our human journey. Your natural, inner truth will want to surface in your life, for as long as you are here on the planet. Allowing your inner nature to show forth in your outer reality is the only way to go “home.”
Going home embraces the truth of you who are. Your truth is in the nature of your desires and longings. It’s within you, ready to embrace you, strengthen you, comfort you, and guide you. Gary Zukav calls that inner guide the seat of your soul. If you experience emptiness, you are feeling a longing to return to none other but your inner I AM. If you’re restless, the intuitive nature of your being is calling you back to itself. Your inner home guides you. It gives you solutions, ideas, and information – only when when they are needed, and exactly at the right time. Furthermore, your inner nature will never ask you to do something that is selfish. It will never ask you to do something that is envious, or rooted in jealousy, fear, or spite. What is right, is that which feels peaceful, truthful, and energizing. What your inner home desires wont feels, icky, awkward or negative. Not only does your inner home give you sanctuary, it gives you what you may be missing in your life – love. It may be time to go home. Return to that inner place of love and embrace your inner nature with the welcoming love you’ve been longing for.
