Your inner child is drawn towards the things that pique your curiosity. When you love yourself, when you’re respectful of your body, and when you feel completely at ease, you may find yourself being drawn towards things that you want to explore. Furthermore, you may notice how people are drawn towards you, when you’re feeling good, joyful, playful and attentive. But others are drawn towards you for one reason, and one reason only – you feel comfortable with yourself and you love and respect yourself. When you love yourself, you will reconnect to your inner, child-like energy that beckons a sense of awe and wonder. Your inner child is drawn into what piques its interest all the times. When you love and respect yourself, you may find that you like to dance, to move your body, to laugh, and to just be silly. Unfortunately, the conditioned mind suppresses those impulses. We overthink life, and we take our problems and our stories way too seriously.
Too often, we’re mired in obsessive thoughts and destructive doubts about ourselves. We pine and we long over finding our so-called purpose, and we don’t even give ourselves permission to play, to explore, and to gravitate towards what interests us. Many live a lifetime, not exercising the need to move towards what they like or to what “calls” to them. The universe gets silent when we don’t have a sense of adventure, when our energy towards something is suppressed, and when we take our lives too seriously. Don’t spend your life resisting what is calling you towards it. Don’t lose your sense of adventure, or suppress your inner child, who actually loves and adores itself. Be kind to yourself. Pamper yourself and be gentle. Remember, children are fragile! They need love and tenderness, and you need the same love and tenderness towards yourself. If you can draw out the natural wonder of your younger, inner spirit – the universe will draw towards you all sorts of fun things to play with!
