Heaven awaits – now.

Everything I wanted felt farfetched. When I was in high school, I needed an organ teacher. I came from a rural, South Louisiana town – no-one in sight! But an acquaintance knew a friend of a friend, and a few phone calls later, I connected to a teacher in a nearby city. A way was made. Yippee!

Then, I wanted to go to a university out of state. Too expensive, although I had scholarships. My folks sold their home and the gap was bridged. A way was made. Yippee!

After graduate school, I wanted a job that seemed “impossible” for someone of my pedigree. A connection to a college, through a current teacher, in a nearby state came along. A way was made. Yippee!

After teaching for a while, I wanted a university position with choral/organ components. Too many people told me jobs like that didn’t exist. Through a friend who knew the dean at this college, I found a newly-minted position with a new organ and a budding choral program. A way was made. Yippee!

I could continue to testify of “my connections.” Who is not connected? The one who’s dreams seem far-fetched. That’s who. You have connections because you are that connection. Dream!

The more far-fetched, the better connected.

Connect to your vision and desire something far-reaching, preposterous even. Start putting two and two together. The family tree does not have one broken branch!

Those who haven’t arrived in The New World are heavy laden in disconnected nonsense. They still believe life is for survival. I think it’s for reconnecting to far-fetched ideas and visions that seem impossibly “disconnected.”

Be like a starry-eyed kid and the hidden umbilical cord will be in one accord. A far-fetched idea is not cordless, and neither are you.

Heaven’s connectivity awaits your arrival to a party that’s already happening in the far-reaches of your soul.
