When push comes to shove: Restrict.

Tuesday, July 21, 2026

The characteristics of irreducible Love are simple, but you have to understand the principles of limit. Do you love? This is the greatest “commandment.” Notice how I’m purposely not putting an object after the word love? Do you love (___)?

When you’re living from a place of love, you’ll want to never deny that “spot.” The place of Love hits the spot, centered in the heart, once you consciously decide to fall (in love).

Begin your love review today and limit yourself foremost and only to what you love. Do you love reading this blog? If not, scrap it. If you are overweight, do you love it? If you are a heavy drinker, do you love it? If you worry all day, do you love it? Do you love the circumstances you are living? Do you love the company you keep? Do you love scrolling, mindless snacking, schlepping to work, or being in a general malaise, hooked on your devices?

In your Love Review, how many times have you answered “no” or “I’m not sure,” when you ask yourself, “Do you love______?”

Do you love olives, onions, or anchovies? Then why eat them to be “nice” to your host? Why force yourself? It makes you bitter. Do you love jealousy? Then why allow yourself to consume mindless “boastings” on social media? Do you love fear? Why allow yourself to watch the so-called news?

To regain consciousness, restrict yourself. I say to myself, “I love you too much to force you (or allow you) to do what you don’t love to do and to be with those you don’t love being with.”

I can love you, but I don’t have to love being in your company. When push comes to shove, restrict yourself, only to Love.

When you are loving, you don’t have to apologize, especially when others don’t understand your True Nature may exclude their immediate company.
