Scripture points to two dimensions: heaven and earth. Earth is frantic, like being an ant, breathlessly working, building, and toiling. Heaven, however, is penthouse living with no time or locale.
Earth cannot be brought to heaven, though it may appear so. Many earth-dwellers live in their own “piece of the sky.” They live in high-rise buildings, bringing earth up there with them. They are as chaotic in the penthouse as they are on the ground. This is not heavenly dwelling, even though it could appear that way. Altitude is not equal to elevation.
On the vertical, from up “there,” heaven is timeless, clear, and free. Yet, it is here on earth too, making it horizontal as well. In the forest, or in a quiet park, High Time is present. It is not vertical or horizontal in a literal sense. You may have to make High Time—time to be timeless. And you can. Heaven on earth is what they call that. It is an invisible shift, a shaft that seems up and down, left and right, simultaneously.
Those who have dwelt and marinated in High Time bring it into their earthly habitation. They are the creative types who live in The Heights, practicing their craft among the toilers and laborers, the “busy” ants who scurry.
They are not pitying or looking down. Hardly. Once you experience High Time, how could you keep it a secret and look down upon others? You know the horror of earthly dwelling. You will always remember how insufferable it is to toil, survive, stew, chase, and apply too much effort.
High Time calls. Is it high time to dwell in the timelessness of your soul? Reaching the plane of serenity will not set you apart. It is everyone’s unalienable right. Until then, no one will notice Your Highness among them.
Secretly, you dwell in the resplendence of the Most High; a timeless plane in the flesh, bringing joy and peace to the laborious, walking stealthily in plain sight.
