I am wealthy! Are you? If you have to check your accounts, your stores, and your assets, I doubt your wealth.
I am healthy! Are you? If you have to ask your doctor and Google your stats, I doubt your health.
I am loved! Are you? If you need someone to tell you “I love you,” or can’t be alone with nothing to do, I doubt you are loved.
I am confident! Are you? If you fear, freeze, resist, or hesitate, I doubt your confidence.
I am limitless! Are you? If you feel average, incapable, stuck in a comfort zone, or “middle-class,” you’ve drawn yourself into a clearly defined box, and I doubt your limitlessness.
I am dying! Are you? If you’re scared to death of dying, I doubt you have much enthusiasm for living; you are killing yourself “playing it safe.”
I am myself! Are you? If you put others above you, try to please them, keep them from getting upset, and do whatever anyone asks of you—no matter what—I doubt you are yourself.
I am my body and my environment! Are you? If you curse your body when looking in the mirror, hate its curvaceousness, cry when obstacles come, and wince when you see a photo of yourself, I doubt your body feels very good, and you feel uncomfortable in every situation you’re in.
I am a child! Are you? If your “responsibilities” are too great to be curious, if your joy is conditional, or if you don’t do as you please when you please, I doubt your childlikeness; I consider you “too adult” for the honor of innocence.
I am financially independent! Are you? If you’ve ever thought you needed money and worry about it at night, I doubt your financial independence.
I am free! Are you? If you need to look at your calendar to see, schedule so-called “free time,” or look outside of yourself for “permission,” I doubt your freedom.
