When a “can-do” arises.

Determination needs a makeover. At its root, determine means – ‘de’ completely and ‘terminare’ stop or limit. Stop what?

Stop limit. Stop thinking. Limit is obliterated. We forge for a power so deep the body has no chance. The physical is overcome. My take on determination, or resoluteness, is to deter mind. To disbelieve the false ceiling of limit. To realize strength, mined deep in the resources of who you are. The pain of the surface and the pull of the body makes us “give in.”

I’ve given in to the mind and body too many times. I’ve given in to the circumstances or what others want too many times. I’ve given in to limiting beliefs – I’m tired. I’ve given in to conventional thinking. You tire of being exhausted from limitation. That drives you to new heights. The reserves of new energy lie deep.

You are not deterred from mining what supercharges you. You just think you can’t go deeper. “Dig deep,” says the personal trainer and the motivational speaker. Don’t let the body talk to you. It says “no.” Don’t let the mind talk to you. It says, “I can’t, I’m different.”

Anything you want, you can. If someone else has overcome – so can you. You’re not a special case. There’s just more endurance, and you are equipped. Your job is to overcome the nonsense of limitation, restraints of time and money, and conventional thinking. You’re always on the verge of a breakthrough when you think you [can’t] take it anymore. The breaking point is proven false by the extraordinary, the one who has deterred the mind – deter mind[ed].

The “no” of the body and mind are “ordinary.” Show yourself extra. When you think you can’t, stop thinking, and a silent ‘can-do‘ will (extra)ordinarily arise in that space.

It’s not mind over matter.

It’s transcendence of mind and matter.
