Pick up your bed and walk.

How do you overcome the perception of lack? It’s a “do-it-anyway” principle. This principle works in fitness. If you’re low on energy, your initial perception might be to convalesce, stay in bed. But the secret is not convalescence but coalescence, which at its root, means ‘to grow up.’

The wise have figured out initiation over inertia. Giving, not as leftovers, but as primacy. In fitness, it’s called HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training. The idea is to dig and “squeeze out” energy. Kickstart the heart. Once you do, more energy pours out. Lack is a false slump easily overcome by a scintilla, a tittle.

We overstock, over stuff the bank, and wait for the “right” moment. Pounce now. How can you pounce, weighed down with overstock? Give now. Move now. This principle of generating energy out of “nothing” begins with a spark – no resources – magic juice. A slight squeeze, and that flow initiates abundance.

If you lack, remember this lawful principle: something must give to start the flow. You will put on your sneakers and walk, despite feeling “unmotivated.” Pick up your pen and write. Hit “record” and go. You will go to that beach party, not when you’ve lost weight, but today. You will proudly kickstart life like a defibrillator, and live as you please – as if you have all the money and time in the world. You generate resources by getting the juices flowing. A slump is not overcome by being chained to a bed. It’s walking with the bed, shaking it loose as you walk.

Despite lethargy, GO. Surge opens floodgates. Do it anyway. Overcoming lethargy is an snap, a pop, a squeeze. Heal yourself of being inert. Heal yourself of “I can’t.” Pick up your bed and walk, now. The benefit of ease and flow follows like magic. Make a start (iota, whit).
