Who can deny love?

The root of the word enthusiasm means ‘be inspired or possessed by a god,’ or from the Latin root it means ’frenzy.’

In middle and high school, my free time was spent at the church, for hours at a time, in a practicing frenzy on the organ. I was possessed. Not by money, prestige, goals, or recognition – I was possessed by my love for the “king of instruments” as Mozart called it.

My parents sold our family home so I could attend the college of my dreams. My innocent enthusiasm moved heaven and earth.

People will invest in you and bend over backwards to see you succeed, if your enthusiasm is as white-hot as an innocent child’s. If you exhibit honest passion for your product or service, others cannot deny you access to your wildest dreams fruiting. Your enthusiasm will open invisible doors “impossible” to mere mortals.

Beware, however. Others are scheming to get rich or to make it “big.” They need investors for their “big moment.” They’re trying to make a sales pitch. They say, “What great rewards lie ahead, if you invest in me!” But woe to you who fall for such deception. That’s delayed enthusiasm. It’s in the future, after they get your so-called help to “make it big.”

Before I received a penny, any help, or support from others, I worked on building my skills. I loved organ playing, all hours of the night, possessed. The embers of my enthusiasm grew quietly, like hot coals, sustaining me, guiding me, strengthening me. I was on fire, ablaze with love – a jolly good fellow, lost in what he loved to do, all “alone.”

For he’s a jolly-good fellow that nobody can deny. Mysterious doors open for the jolly-good. You cannot be denied. Your love creates a way.

Who can deny Light’s Fire, stoked by pure love, enthusiasm, and joy?

No-one. No. Not one.
