Omega is catching on.

In a pack, dogs learn who’s boss – top dog. When you own a dog, or have a child of your own, you must lay down the law. It’s a battle of who’s the boss. Allow your aggressive dog to run amok, and you’ll realize you can’t. You love them too much. Allow your toddler to have their way, and you’ll realize you can’t. You love them too much.

You are Alpha; however, you don’t need to pee on your territory, strut your stuff, puff up your chest, and walk around with “authority.” Alpha is really a softy, but lays down the law for its hardened self. It’s Omega who misunderstands power. Now, both are of the same substance, but in the truth-seeker, Alpha reigns supreme and Omega falls in line.

To lay down the law is to show love. When Omega runs amok and crosses the line of love, suffering ensues. Then suffering becomes insufferable. Omega is simply learning, that’s all. Omega submits, usually through burnout, and revelation is slow. “Top Dog” mentality eventually burns itself up; hopefully before you become an old man in diapers – helpless as you always have been. Thinking you were the authority figure who dominates is Omega’s blight.

Love is the Power. It’s completely invisible, submissive, and accepting; but it is also unyielding. Those who think they are top dog are mistaken. They cause pain to themselves with aggression, and point to “other” as the culprit, failing to see the bond of Alpha and Omega, self and other, enemy and friend.

The part of you that “knows better” is showing you. Do you think you can ever get ahead of Alpha by pretending to be Top Dog? Omega is catching on, but maybe never totally catching up. It knows to fall in line and be exactly like the leader – Unconditional Love. This is the only way forward in the spiritually aligned. There is no other way. Omega is catching on.
