Real Living! Blinding Love! Binding it all.

Real living is different from what one might consider “life.” The story of “life” is backward-facing. Real Living is forward-facing, but with a clear, uncluttered mind. Clarity means without obstruction – no concept. It’s wide open, tons of wiggle room, openness for surprise, and complete confidence in what is unknown. The future isn’t what you think. The Real future is blind trust. We’re rowing our boats but our eyes are facing to the back. The bow is blind.

Constant mental clutter lulls us then, “Whamo,” a surprise arrives and leaves us in disbelief. Disbelief is a failure to accept what is. Belief, however, is acceptance of what is yet to come. How can you know? Those who believe learn to turn back to the void and trust with a minimum of neck-turning. They turn back to their eyes of faith, the ones who see nothing at all and find great peace and consolation in that so-called void. The whiplash, the lingering, and the holding on is easier to overcome for those who know the real direction to living – forward-facing, unknown-facing, uncluttered, and unconditional.

The Real present moment and Real Living cannot be snapshotted, caught, or held. When you hold, you con yourself into believing past and future are real. Belief defies what is seen, especially what’s carved up in the mind. Belief defies definition. It doesn’t mitigate surprise either. “Gotcha!” Lull yourself into holding on and you con yourself into shock. I’ve learned to not look back for very long. That’s a pillar of salt and decay. I lean forward into the void where living is real, unthreatened, fresher than fresh, easy, and uncluttered.

Real living is unconditional; it’s loose; it’s unpredictable; and it’s blinding love that binds it all.
