The imagination is our greatest treasure, and simultaneously, our nightmare. The imagination seems to have a mind of its own, which is strange. Why does the imagination scare us with worst-case scenarios of doom and gloom? And how do we get “in there” to use it more wisely? I wish I could tell you how to voluntarily “use” your imagination. Most humans are being used by it. It seems to automatically scare us. But is there really a difference between using your imagination and being used by it? I don’t know how it works and at what point it seems to be “mine.”
I seem to have discovered an epiphany where now I use my imagination to create glorious scenes, beautiful dreams, wonderful feelings, and 3D models of what I love. My friend Wes calls them vignettes. I can close my eyes and feel the feelings of accomplishment, abundance, joy, and love. I seem to have been given the controls. And now, I create paradise. I now seem to prefer what my imagination sees over what my eyes see. I am a magi.
The nightmare tortures you enough. Hell does have an end. In an epiphany, the magi appears to bring gifts of insight, rather than torture. You give yourself great feelings of enthusiasm and euphoria. You’ll bring gifts from afar to yourself. You’ll give yourself the luxurious paradise of creation and deep peace.
The magi in you wants to bring gifts of tidings and joy. But the sorcerer may still be conjuring up scary dreams that perpetuate guilt. Reality is a dream – it’s being seen in the mind. Imagination is also a dream. It’s being seen in the mind. Why not paint a glorious scene within? You are a magi. Imagine that.
