Words do not actualize Truth.

If your reader had never touched a ball, you’d have a hell of a time describing in words what a sphere was. The same could be said about how to play the piano. I could fill the entire universe with words about how to play the piano; but the person reading would never gain firsthand knowledge unless they sat down at the keyboard. They would learn everything about piano playing from a conceptual level, while never truly actualizing it.

It’s not until a person has actually touched the piano that they really have know-how. And those who actually play can sniff out those who can only describe playing. But, firsthand knowledge doesn’t give you an advantage, it gives you joy and freedom, elation and bliss. It’s so much better to play the piano than to describe it. But you’d never know until you played.

The same can be said about God. There are so many expert describers that know “everything” about God. They love it because they can control the narrative. We have a lot of folks out there describing how to play the piano and few that actually play. Lots of folks know about playing God, but few that actually know.

Actualization is not a hand-me-down through words, it’s hands-on through action. Method books do not tell you what playing the piano actually is, no more than scripture actualizes God. Don’t just learn about how to play the piano. Touch one and actualize being a pianist. Don’t just learn about God. Actualize being.

I have said, “You are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High.” (Psalm 82:6)
