Logic tells you what’s plausible or inevitable, based on the evidence. A “realistic” person waits for evidence before they take action. An imaginative person disregards logic. An imaginative person knows that dreams are evidence. They are a foretaste of reality, and often defy logic. Playing it safe is what makes you feel stuck and keeps you from growing. But life is for growing, and to do that, you must lean into fear and throw the so-called odds off of the drafting table.
The infinite universe doesn’t play it safe. It plays it like a trusting child who will use up what seems like all of the resources in a single stroke. A child will use all the paint and glitter for one picture, splattering them all over the canvass with no regards about from where the next supply will come.
Look around you. There is far more space in the universe than is necessary – more spermatozoa; more seeds; more beauty; more stars and planets; and more variety than is necessary. The universe spews out abundance, like a wasteful and careless child. It sparkles with an endless supply of candy, decor, jewels, and chocolate sauce. The universe is decadent. How is that playing it safe? Step into the woods and see the insanity of abundance billowing from every corner! Thinking logically is sane, but dreams defy logic. They are often insane.
You could play it safe or partake in the feast of your wildest dreams and desires. Most people have a dull life because they can’t see how their dreams could ever be possible. But dreams lie beyond logic. The path to success is just under the wire and just beyond the logical mind. You can only get there by leaning into what the logical mind can’t see. You have to become like a child who’s not afraid to spatter the paint, “waste” the glitter, and go for it!
