The grand scheme and the deceitful schemer.

Life is perfect and choice is an illusion. Why would I be writing this blog if I really had a so-called choice? Of all the things in the world I could be doing, why writing? No matter what you choose, it’s already been chosen. Your feeling of choice is nothing but a last-minute revelation of what’s been chosen. The good news? It’s all done, and there are no wrong turns, so just chill. You’ve got this.

The impetus that feels like the environment pushing you around is the grand scheme. The impetus to get out and do something of “your choice” is the grand scheme disguised as you. The driver in front of you seems to be “making you” drive slower than “you want,” is not what it seems. The unfortunate circumstance that made you change your life is the universe morphing within you doing its own dramatic unfolding. It appears like we have a self, a choice, and control, which is kind of cool, but it all works as ONE. If there is no you, there is no “yours.”

If you really had a choice, what would you get rid of? Would you get rid of aging? Great – nothing but young people everywhere! Would you get rid of suffering and disease? What would we do with all of the helpers, caregivers, and teachers? Would you get rid of mosquitos? Who would feed the dragonflies? You can’t futz with perfection. Why are you meddling? Just admit it, there are no choices and nothing needs “fixing.” If you think you need to improve yourself, then you are a deceitful schemer trying to improve the universe. What could you do to make perfect better? It’s laid out and it unfolds with utmost precision and perfection. You can’t mess up the grand scheme. That means there’s nothing wrong with you or anything else, ever.
