All of my troublesome relationships have been my fault. I began to see “the other” as the problem, when in truth, I have been blind. I detached myself from Truth and turned it into the illusion of falsehood. I divided oneness only to realize it’s indivisible. So I cannot divide oneness, nor can I separate from source; so then, there is no enemy except in concept alone. And concepts can be eradicated. This will heal the world.
The caterpillars and grasshoppers in your garden are not the enemy. They will eat your tomatoes. They don’t see “your” tomatoes as the enemy but as a food source. The gazelle is not the enemy to the lion. She is a food source. It’s a balance in the ecosystem which has no scarcity.
However, humans do not consume each other as food. When you “eat” another by attacking and eliminating, it creates an imbalance in the ecosystem, like an autoimmune disease creates chaos in the body. Attacking and eliminating the so-called enemy is what a cancer cell does. It turns on its host, in ignorance of its environment. A cancer cell is not on enemy territory, but simply doesn’t “know” it. When you see an enemy, your ignorance creates a hostile environment, but The Environment is always hospitable. It’s your inner environment (concept) which is hostile, and you can clean that up right now.
If a cancer cell “understood,” it would not destroy its host. A form of ignorance turns it “on.” Awareness turns it off. And then, hospitality heals the damage. Hospitality comes from the root, host or hospital. Become hostile, eradicate “the other” person, and a plague ensues. Eradicate the concept of “enemy,” and the disease (the so-called problem) vanishes. Become the host, then new friends will appear, and your hospitality (hospital) will heal the earth.
