Many live in the grandstands, seeing life from the periphery. They give advice, criticize others for what they’ve done, and they assume it’s as simple as imagining how they would do it. Everywhere you go, you bring a host of variables – unknowns that throw a unique kink into the circumstance. Particles behave differently when they are observed. Situations behave differently if you’re involved. That’s how quantum physics works. You’re on the quantum field, not the mental field – which doesn’t know about variables.
Each person brings with them unique quantum dynamics, so how can you sit on the sidelines and say you would have done it better or fixed the problem? The arena of mentality is always different from the arena of reality. The participants, the energy, the variables – they all work in tandem, and you can’t imagine the complexities that come with you.
How can you walk in anyone else’s shoes? The shoes won’t fit, and if they did, the path would be different because your feet are in them. You make reality change. You are the variable of energy, body language, ideas, responses, dynamics, emotions, etc. The unknowns in you change the whole trajectory, which is unpredictable. You could bring it to victory or you could bring it down; but you can’t know from the grandstands. It’s good to see ways to improve, but don’t get caught in thinking you’ve got all the answers, even about your own future. You can only know for sure, once you step onto the field. Putting yourself in another person’s field or putting yourself into the future leaves out the variable of you. Real playing is on the quantum field where “anything” can happen. Are you willing to step out of the sidelines, or are you scared by the opponent? The gremlins and the variables won’t go away, so you just as soon get in there and play ball.
