We often forget the dynamism of the universe, which is breathing in and out. Yes, it’s perpetually expanding, but within that growth it’s also breathing. It’s multidimensional, just like you and your life. But what humans do is just inhale, or at least we think that’s all there is. We gather too much. We hoard. We save and stash ridiculously. But we don’t seem to like giving away, releasing, and to letting go. What about the exhale?
Do you fear that there will not be more if you spend? Do you fear that there won’t be another if you let go of the relationship you have now? Do you fear that if you give away something, or let something go you’ll remain empty forever? Breathing has two equal sides.
Fear of lack hinders the natural duality of in and out. The lungs expunge without fear that there will be more air to take in. The heart contracts confidently knowing it will expand again. You can count on both inhale and exhale. You can give up that job. You can give away that money. If you keep holding on, grasping, hoarding, eating too much, and taking on too many responsibilities, you’ll blow up. In a manner of speaking there will be an explosive release in your life, and it won’t be pretty. All intake and no outtake builds tension. The universe wants you to breathe. There are two strokes. Pay attention to the exhalation. Consciously become empty. Let go of junk; old thoughts; fear; unused stuff; toxic relationships; and even things precious to you, like money and possessions. Breathe out. Don’t forget to breathe out. You know more will come. You have to trust that it will be there. You will expire before the supply does. No more supply? You know better than that. Breathe out confidently.
