Either the universe is intelligent or it’s dumb. What do you believe – highly organized or a fluke? Is it friendly or hostile? Is it safe to live here? Distrusting humans are running amuck. Do you believe you were born in a fluke-ish world? We don’t trust that we live in a perfectly ordered world, capable of taking care of itself with utmost precision and perfection. This organizing principle is in you, but you don’t see it, trust it, or know it. If all the humans left the planet, she would heal. Does this mean humans are the problem? It means humans are paranoid and do not trust the universe, themselves, or each other.
A distrusting person meddles because they think the world is “crazy,” and it needs their help. They feel they must step in and turn it right-side up. But it was created right-side up. As long as people think that they need help; that they are less than; that they are incapable; that there is something missing or fundamentally wrong; and that they have no internal, organizing power within themselves to live free from fear, the world will continue to seem problematic.
The cardinals, the bluejays, the plants, the trees, and even the mosquitos live out perfect lives. They don’t meddle or try to push around their environment. They are in perfect union with the great happening. Even the neighborhood cat that comes around my house is a perfect specimen – never been to a vet as far as I know, but perfectly healthy and free. Must we meddle and distrust? There is nothing wrong. We’re full of unease which leads to dis-ease. The universe is healthy, but we’re out of tune with that perfection, union, and orderliness. Let God be God, not only in “the world,” but through you.
