What we cling to, feel dependent upon, or what we fear, becomes our master. We think we have to stay in that stale relationship because there could never be anyone better. We think that we have to remain at that meager level of income because we lack the skills, imagination, or intelligence to earn more. We fear that if we make the change, we’ll be left with no options. Our human side does lack. We cannot see how; but our divine side, the omniscience working in and through us, knows all the tricks and the how-to’s. Do you trust in such a thing?
Life was meant to be lived freely, and abundantly, not with an enslaved sense of impoverishment or imprisonment. You have to sense and trust that you are truly free to do as you desire; to have what you desire; and to do what you desire. Recognize when it’s time to start over, let go, or to change.
When you clutch and cling, you’re enslaved, trapped in routines, addictions, and mindsets that scare or bore you. If you enjoy those things, then fine. But if you feel stuck, trapped, or dependent, you can free yourself. If you’re afraid of letting go, making a change, or accepting something new, you are a captive. Addictions are captors. “Making a living” is a captor. Fear of loneliness is a captor. Fear of a dwindling bank account is a captor. You’re enslaved if you depend on it, or if you’re afraid of releasing it. Hold on to nothing other than what gives you life itself, the inner source of all. That wholeness, the power of the divine which lives in you, is your source, and that greatness gives opulently and relentlessly. You lack nothing. You fear nothing. You are free!
