Things are moving in your favor. Opportunities are coming. Wealth is coming. Love is coming. Joy is coming. But when? They come when you realize it’s all here, and that nothing is missing. You have received a multitude of gifts, and you most likely have too much. Excess creates an illusion of depravity. There is so much for which to be completely grateful, that it’s blinding the amazing favor and goodness, hiding in plain sight. We don’t even notice how good it is to be ourselves, to be alive, to be given another day. What a pity, that we don’t even marvel at the beauty of our own bodies, fully equipped with energy, desire, thought, and movement.
The rich keep seeking riches because they don’t feel wealthy. People are desperate for relationships, hopping from one to the next, because they don’t understand love. People rush around, going from one thing to the next, because they don’t see joy in simply being. When you have too much, you never recognize how special anything is. That’s because everything is special.
This is not another reminder to stop and smell the roses. This is a reminder to cherish the fact that not only can you smell the roses, but that there are roses to be smelled – a double treasure. Oh, and how lovely they smell, too – a triple treasure. Oh, and how beautifully deep, red they are, sweetly perfumed with love – a quadruple treasure. Do you see what abundance is? People are blind to abundance because abundance is everywhere. So much food; so much entertainment; so much pleasure; so much comfort; so much love, and yet we’re all hungry, bored, sad, lonely, and agitated. No one is noticing, and so they pursue “more.” Life is full, and it’s all inside. Pursuing what’s missing will make you hungrier for more, that’s because nothing is missing.
