Miracles are always closer than we think they are, and they always seem just “happen,” in an instant. Even though the world is vast and complex, and seemingly random, so-called strange things occur each and every day. You suddenly hear from that person who came to your mind a few days prior; you just stumble upon that idea that grows into a major blessing; you just miraculously find that thing you thought you had lost; you just so happened upon that job vacancy, or you just decided to walk into that store where you meet the person of your dreams. Miracles always seem to find you, when you’re simply minding your own business.
Miracles are hardly ever gradual. They are sudden, and they often arrive in simple ways, during mundane times. What you need always comes, like the gates of heaven opening in perfect timing, without your help, everything just “falling into place.” Miracles do that very thing – they fall into place. No need to clutch, plead, or beg. It’s like the supply chain is hovering, just above your head. The mind never understands miracles, as that’s not “realistic” enough.
Here’s the key: challenges are random, and miracles are synchronized. Your birth was a miracle, for example. The odds were against you to actually have a life, but guess what, you are here, and you are still here. Don’t dismiss your life as random, and don’t let challenges stop you; often they are just reminders to be a more faithful believer. Miracles slip through the cracks of challenging situations, and when you pull through, you can’t help but wonder how you ever survived. But miracles always fall right into place, they are always right on schedule, and they are always closer than you think.
