The “high” place of being in a hurry makes things slow down.

People in a hurry falsely believe that their time is more important than others. But the universe responds to the hasty with humbling circumstances. When your schedule is more important than everyone else’s schedule, you invite obstacles, boundaries, setbacks, and long delays into your life. Falsely thinking your schedule is more important than everyone else’s, works against you. In other words, you can’t push time faster by putting yourself higher. Success becomes an arduous task, when you have to pull it upwards. Why not sit low, and let gravity do the work for you?

Sitting low, like the ocean, is the only way to harness the natural flow of success, which works like a tributary. The lower you sit, in a position of ease and humility, the faster things flow towards you. People are more eager to help the pleasant, not the hasty. Hurrying, being high above, makes things harder to hoist up. Putting your time above others slows down achievement, hinders ideas, and halts opportunity.

Those who wait in peaceful and joyful expectation know the way. Rushing actually slows things down. Knock yourself down a notch or two, and aim for calm and ease, which lies lower in your spirit. Let other people rush, and just take note of how foolish that is. Let others believe that their time is more important – they’re wrong. Gravity will do its best work when you’re being your best when others aren’t; when you’re being humble when others are playing dirty; and when you’re being meek, when others are haughty. If you want things to speed up, nestle in the valley of love and humility. Never be so audacious as to believe that your time is more valuable than another. Time is an equal and precious commodity for everyone. No one sits above it nor has authority over it.
