People are eager to be helpful. If you are in search of, or in need of anything, express it! You never know who has what you may need. If you’re single, and you mention to someone that you’re dating and in search of love, they might know of a person who is also single, and a potential rendezvous could emerge. Or you might mention in conversation that you’re interested in starting a business, and another person might know of someone who could help you with your marketing or with some financing. Lots of possibility emerges when you talk about your goals, so share them.
But make sure your desire resonates with you. You know it resonates because it brings you energy when you think about it, or when you talk about it. When you express your goals with passion, people will respond to your charisma – they love to help those who are charismatic. They are also willing to help those who have a clear vision, and who are excited about attaining their dreams. When you’re enthused about what you want, I guarantee someone will be eager help you.
When you have a chance to converse, talk passionately about your dreams and ask others what they are working towards too. Be willing to help if you hear of a need that comes up in a conversation. Perhaps you have information, a contact, or a skill that could help those around you who are searching for opportunity – you never know. No more keeping your aspirations a secret. We need each other to be successful. Talk about your goals, and ask others about their goals too. You never know what kind of good Samaritans are all around you and who are eager to help you make your dreams come true.
