Life is filled with transitions. Choices that once felt right, grounded, and clear, can begin to feel foreign or even downright wrong. Just like your body can sometimes sense a change in the weather, your gut can sense a change in your life. Your gut intuition can sense when you’re in a transitory situation, one that’s morphing, or one that’s getting ready to expire. Sometimes your transitions can seem to be in retrograde. What once felt “wrong” can turnaround, moving backwards, towards an understanding of what was better for you, after all.
There are situations, people, relationships, preferences, and all manner of “happenings” that come into and out of your life. All of those experiences, at one point or another, felt like they are part of the correct path. Sometimes things fall into your path, and you have to accept them, and other times it’s due to your choices. But just because something may feel right or wrong at the time, it doesn’t mean that it’s permanent. The gut choices you’ve made, won’t feel the same forever.
Even when life moves you into a blizzard, where you cannot see the correct path, all you need to see is just the next step. Just go with it. When you’re discerning, gut clarity takes time. Be patient with what’s murky. Be willing to go where the unknown sends you. But don’t push, and don’t get anxious when your gut can’t confirm a potential choice. Allow the seasons to arrive on their own. Clarity eventually returns in the springtime, and you’ll see the illumined pathway once again. The beauty of perspective is that when clarity returns, you will be able to look back and to see that you were never off of the path anyway, even in the murkiest parts of your storm. Life miraculously keeps you on track, even when you can’t always see where you’re going. Trust and be at ease with what’s unclear, it’s all for your own good.
