What does it mean to be in good health? If you want good physical health, you’d assess what your body needs by how it “speaks” to you – by how it feels. The body needs to move, so it signals you by getting stiff and lethargic; if it needs to rest, it speaks to you by getting tired; if it needs to be fed nutritiously, it speaks to you through hunger. If it needs nutrition, if speaks through lethargy and lack of energy. The mind, too has a level of health. The mind needs peace, so it speaks incessantly trying to get your attention. The mind needs to be used as a helpful tool, not as means of creating disruptions. When used properly, the mind is brilliant at solving problems, creating imaginative possibilities, and coming up with awesome ideas. The mind needs to be fed well – good information; positive affirmations and literature; and it needs time to rest, through prayer and mediation.
Good physical, mental, and emotional health are always assessed by how good you feel inside. Feeling like you have peace of mind, that you are fully alive and vibrant, and that you are physically fit is the most important thing in your life. The road to good health means getting rid of all of the toxins that might be making you feel poorly.
Your toxins are your thoughts, your bad habits, and your lack of action. If poison circulates in your mind and in your habits, then you’re in poor health. Positive, healthy, and happy sensations are what you’re looking for – those lead to good health. Take charge of your health, think about what good health actually means, and start feeling it, start creating it. Check-in with your inner body and mind as often as you can today – the patient needs some inner healing. The patient needs to feel healthy. Get going before it’s too late.
