Taste and see the goodness of today.

Today is waiting for you to love. There is no alternative to today. There are no setbacks, drawbacks, or flaws to the design of today. Today was given to you with loving intention, even if you judge its contents or dislike what it offers you. Today’s gifts are meant for your benefit, not your struggle. You can go through today with open palms, open arms, ready to receive; or you can go through today with disdain and anger. There’s no need to struggle. The design of today is love.

Today is waiting for you to take an action. There are no opportunities that you’re missing out on. The best ones are already here, so deal with them enthusiastically. You have an opportunity to grow. You have an opportunity to adapt. You have an opportunity to change the situation, if it’s within your control.

Today is waiting for you to accept it. If you cannot control it, then accept it. Accept yourself, the uncertainty, and the emptiness. Accept what it means to be you. Encourage and accept others where they are on their own journey. What you cannot control is asking for acceptance and grace. Accept the offer to surrender.

Today is waiting for your peace. Even in the chaos that surrounds you, today gives you a chance to be peaceful with what is. Don’t get swept up in the noise. Quiet your heart and ground your soul, right in the middle of the storm. Today offers you the chance for peace.

Today is waiting for you to notice. Taste the goodness of today, and see how gracious you can be to yourself and others. There is something meaningful to experience, in the contents of today. To see, to hear, to taste, and to touch is what awakens you. Each and every day contains some measure of goodness to absorb, if you pay attention.

Today is waiting for your gratitude, so don’t pass up the opportunity to receive; don’t pass up the relief of acceptance; don’t pass up the moments to be at peace; don’t forget to taste and to absorb the goodness that today is offering you. Don’t pass up the opportunity to say “Thank you.”
