The rite of passage is softness.

If you are going through a difficulty listen up. Read closely and carefully. Be watchful and alert, but allow the body to melt. Let your softness emerge. Then, levity will ooze to the surface. Back down from a bracing stance. Don’t put your hands in front of you, but allow them to drop like limp noodles. Go back “into” the body. You’re not cowering nor shrinking back, but unclasping.

If you want to make the most of who you are, humble yourself in the presence of the moment. Don’t fall for the trap that suddenness is a necessity. Don’t believe yourself to be offensive or defensive. Don’t believe yourself to be guilty or righteous. Just let your softness be known.

The secret to unlimited supply is humble access. It’s not approaching the wizard on bended knee. That’s fearful. Live without reproach and without scolding. Knees knocking, body filled with tremors and covered in armor, fist shaking at the head of the pack are two sides of paranoia.

Humble access is great gravity, but not graveness. Humble access gets you into great freedom, but how is this amazing freedom not flaunted? How do you access fearlessness without provoking those who feel you have something they don’t? You wean the ego from its addiction. You coax the spirit from its burial ground. You coo the spirit child into its womb. You call the kitty softly. Let your softness gently coerce the potential which has sublimated itself in you.

You have access to which begets both heaven and earth. The portal is here, yet unseen. Those with humble access are privy to its whereabouts, to its narrow entrance, to its unbelievable power accessible in humble service. There is no secret knock, exclusive club, or door.

The rite of passage is softness, known and exposed, always now in the quiet subtlety of no sudden moves.
