According to the manifestation guru, the “trick” is to really<\/em> feel as though what you want is already done. Just “get over it.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus said that we should believe as though we have it already. Easy for the “boss’s son” to say. He had “inside information” and nothing to get over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We can’t change feelings like we change our underwear. Where’s the drawer from where we “select” them, or the switch where we suddenly stop the storm? Or the doer who has access to the buttons?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Can you tell me how to manifest an emotion? How do you feel as though you have “the feeling<\/em>” you want already<\/em>!? When the present feeling is total shit and utter chaos, that’s like saying to a grieving mother, “Don’t cry.” How cruel!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You know what else is cruel? The “sinless one” going around telling everyone else to stop sinning. That’s no different from me advising you to stop worshiping a hypocrite. Emotions are weather patterns and the god in the sky seems inept against them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n You’re recognizing your emotions as kaleidoscopic wonderment. You have no obligation to change how you feel because there is no switching mechanism. If you’ve been reading my blog, I’m with you. I have that same “problem.” My emotions are “beyond me.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is no magic savior that can change your life, or your feelings. Pay close attention to feelings and feel them<\/em>. They change, not you. Fought feelings keep you from noticing them as sheer and see-through. They seem unreasonable as gusts of wind when you pay direct <\/em>attention to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If I could point to it, I’d show you that you are much more<\/em> than a sinless demigod who advises you to simply “stop sinning.” The sun does<\/em> come out, but not because you’ve stood on the edge of a boat, faced the horizon like a mythical Zeus, put your palm under the sun, and “lifted it up” by your so-called own power. <\/p>\n\n\n\n That’s the miracle exposed as mere coincidence and “special effect.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
