With a flip of a coin, you\u2019re doomed. This is what life feels like for many. Detail means \u201can individual feature, fact, or item.\u201d Its origins are funny, from French d\u00e9tail<\/em>, from d\u00e9-<\/em> (expressing separation) + tailler<\/em> \u2018to cut\u2019 (based on Latin talea<\/em> \u2018twig, cutting\u2019). Welcome to the \u201ctail\u2019s side\u201d of life, the shadow of doubt. Just beyond this shadow of doubt is the benefit of the doubt, the devil in the so-called details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On one side of a coin it says, \u201cIn God We Trust.\u201d That\u2019s the obverse side, or the \u201chead\u2019s side,\u201d typically featuring the profile of a prominent figure. On the reverse, or the tail\u2019s side is an abstraction. This is the side we call bad luck, misfortune, or \u201cthe way it is.\u201d So a hero is born, a presidential figure who will overcome the abstraction and set the world upright. Head over tails!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Why can\u2019t good and evil coexist as Truth? When you only see one side, God is our hero who seems to be struggling to win over \u201chimself.\u201d When you see both sides of a coin, the matter suddenly resolves. Somehow, you have to visit hell to see how harmless it really is. The coin has two sides, but for some weird reason, we can\u2019t expose them both at once. It seems logic won\u2019t allow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Welcome to enlightenment. You\u2019re printing your own currency, forgetting everything comes with a tail\u2019s side. The coin is minted in the same treasury, but never are both sides seen together, simultaneously. Well, they are in a way, but after you\u2019ve seen the light. The abstraction on the tail\u2019s side is nothing to be feared. Fishing around the so-called dark side reveals a little detail – the tail-end of \u201cGod,\u201d the devil with a tail and a pitchfork cutting up what\u2019s essentially unbreakable and whole, harmoniously paired, and well-played.
