Life is transitional, yet we are often unaware of this truth. Some stages are ending, some are beginning, some are peaking – but they are never forever. The key is sensing when endings have arrived and when beginnings are emerging. When something is beginning, welcome it warmly, but don\u2019t stifle it by trying to hoard it or to clutch it (new relationships, new perspectives, new ideas, new dreams, new opportunities, etc.). Don\u2019t push or rush new beginnings, either. They have to mature on their own time. If it\u2019s not ready to mature, you\u2019ll ruin it. Likewise, when something is dying, let it go with dignity. Stand at the door and smile as you hold it open for what\u2019s coming, and for what\u2019s leaving. When you close the door, or try to box it in – it will eventually find a way to leave you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Money, people, beliefs, positions, etc., all go in and out – sometimes so quickly they make your head spin. Let what needs to pass through come and go. One of the secrets of happiness is being observant, seeing things, people, situations, perceptions move in and out of your life, and letting it all happen as it needs to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The key is knowing when to nurture what\u2019s beginning, when to bury what\u2019s dying, and when to sustain what\u2019s peaking. Your biggest regrets in your life will be when you try to rush or to close doors on new beginnings, or hold onto and try to trap things because you\u2019re afraid to let them go. Hold the door open for all<\/em> of it because everything comes and goes.
